Coloring Page

I saw this idea on the blog The Idea Room yesterday. I was late taking the kids to preschool because of it.  You can turn a regular photograph into a coloring page.  It's awesome.  Click on the link and it will tell you how to do it.  You have to have photoshop, though.

I try to be

So, this is my first blog.  I spend a lot of my time trying to make it look like I have everything together. So, I'm going to start off my first blog with some honesty.  I am home today this Monday morning with my 5 year old son and my 3 year old daughter.  It's raining and cold outside.  This is what we're up to today, and the actual condition of my house as we speak. There's not enough natural light coming in so these are awful pictures used with my flash.  

1. Eating popcorn in their fort. Not gonna lie, I realized it was 11:40 when I put it in the microwave, so I think they had popcorn for lunch. They wanted me to take a picture of just their hands.  ok.

2. I started laundry last night while watching a movie with the hubby and am still working on it.

3. Even Heidi agrees its a yucky day.

4. I started making my bed, but then I was struck with the idea to start a blog, and didn't finish.

5. See, the unfinished laundry in piles in my bathroom? I told you I didn't finish.

6. Something productive today: we sorted box tops.

7. Ugh, two things I hate.  Dishes, and the pink and green tile in my kitchen.

I hope to share in this blog some things I'm passionate about: Jesus, my family, healthy eating, taking pictures, maybe some crafty stuff, and who knows what else?  We'll see how well I keep it up.
